This hoop has really helped me out. I love the easy way it allows me to get the back of a project out of the way. It is fast and easy!
Top Notch shipped it to me very quickly and I appreciate their customer service!
I bought this because I don't have time to spend many, many hours practicing free motion quilting, hoping it would help the stitches be more even and help me to have the quilting pattern actually look like it's supposed to, and so far it has been amazing! I've done ocean waves, flowers, and a wavy sun without going out of the lines too much. The only "issue" I had was figuring out why the red light wasn't turning red. A YouTube video helped in saying to hold the start/stop button until it comes on. After that, it's been working perfectly. It took me 2 years to be able to afford it, and I think it will be more than worth it in time, fabric, batting and thread spent practicing. πππ The pics are the first 2 times using it. Definitely not perfect, but so much better!
My Bernette B77 recently started oddly malfunctioning - the needle would just start going up and down on its own and it was very frustrating. The internet said that it could be that the bobbin case area might need cleaning (it didn't but I cleaned it anyway...didn't help) or it could be that the machine needed to be rethreaded top to bottom (didn't help) OR that the foot control was malfunctioning. It was the foot control. Thankfully Top Notch Sewing and Vacuum had it in stock and I had a new foot control within a few days. My problem has been solved and sewing is a joy again. :)
The plate was just what I needed. I tried installing it but one of the little metal tabs on the bottom was too wide. I tried pushing it in and it snapped off. In order to get it to work and stay in place I removed the tab from the plate I already had.
