The Bernina Jeans Presser Foot #8 is specifically designed for crafting straight-stitched seams in durable materials like denim, canvas, and linen. Its unique construction is also advantageous when working with multiple layers of fabric.
When paired with the straight-stitch plate, which features a narrow needle opening for enhanced needle stability, the foot's flat base allows it to effortlessly navigate through thick fabric layers.
Additionally, the Bernina Jeans Foot #8 performs well while straight stitching with medium-weight and lightweight fabrics. Keep in mind that the latest BERNINA Dual Feed functionality is compatible only with type-D presser feet.
