Grace Q'nique 16X Manual Longarm Quilting Machine with 8ft Evolution Elite Frame
Grace Q'nique 16X Manual Longarm Quilting Machine with 8ft Evolution Elite Frame
A great starting machine for those who are new to midarm/longarm quilting is the Q'nique 16X Manual from the Grace Company. This mechanical midarm can only function in manual mode and lacks stitch regulation. It makes any task easier with a maximum stitch rate of 1,700 stitches per minute. Because of the 16X Manual's simple design, you can stitch precise details and at your own pace with excellent stitch quality and simple manual speed control.
The user can see how rapidly the machine is stitching thanks to a light-up speed gauge that runs the length of the machine. Like all the other 16X series machines, the Manual has an automatic bobbin winder, LED lighting, and 16" of throat space. To further elevate your quilting experience, combine your Q'nique 16X Manual with one of Grace's quilting frames (separately available).
Speed Gauge
Utilize every benefit of quilting with a midarm quilting machine without needing to flip between screens. Grace has added a light-up speed gauge to the 16X Manual in place of the LCD touchscreen. Additionally, if you'd like, you may update your 16X Manual to a 16X and add a screen!
Extendable Ergonomic handles
Because the soft, ergonomic handles are designed to follow the natural curves and contours of your hand, you can quilt in comfort and minimize wrist and hand strain. Two movable handles on the Q'nique 16X can be turned or extended. With this level of adjustment, you can quilt for longer stretches of time without experiencing pain.
4 Quick-Access Buttons
The 16X streamlines the handlebar controls by reducing the amount of buttons to two on each handle. You may adjust the number, size, and speed of stitches by using the up and down arrows, accordingly. The "play" button allows you to start and stop the machine, and the stitch button allows you to raise or lower the needle.
REPOSITIONABLE HOPPING FOOT
The purpose of the hopping foot on the 16X was to maximize visibility. Easily adjust the foot to the left, right, or back of the needle based on your needs and the quilted object. You can also adjust the height of your foot. When quilting with heavy fabric or batting layers, the jumping foot may press down too hard on the quilt and begin to drag. Conversely, if the hopping foot is raised too high, skipping stitches may result.
16" Throat Space
Rather than using a domestic machine that has trouble quilting those enormous queen and king-size quilts, invest in a machine that can easily manage large tasks. Large-block quilts typically have a more striking visual effect, and Grace's 16X makes this feasible! You'll be able to finish larger portions of your quilt more quickly with a full 16" of throat space, and best of all, your fabric won't bunch up beneath the throat!
1700 STITCHES PER MINUTE
The robust motor of the 16X Manual can create up to 1700 stitches per minute. With its powerful motor, you can create beautiful, dependable stitches. Additionally, the machine has the option to sew up to 90 stitches per minute at a slower speed. The machine's manual stitch option works well with this broad speed range.
BUILT-IN AUTOMATIC BOBBIN WINDER
Unlike other midarm and longarm machines, the 16X Manual has an integrated bobbin winder that makes it possible to wind big M-style bobbins quickly. The machine's bobbin cam is set to allow the bobbin to wind completely around before the winder cuts off. Because the bobbin winder is independent of the machine, you can wind your bobbin while quilting. Grace recommends winding a bobbin with 50-weight polyester thread on a cone for best results.
Dual Thread Mast
The 16X's dual thread mast lets you wind bobbins and quilt simultaneously. You'll save so much time and work with this wonderful feature! You don't have to stop quilting to wind a bobbin anymore. The dual-thread mast will give your bobbin and quilting threads a designated spot.
Designed to Feel Familiar
Making the move to a longarm machine might be unsettling, but the Q'nique 16X simplifies it! Because it has two wheels, this longarm is lighter and much more maneuverable than others.
LED LIGHTING
Extremely bright, color-balanced daylight LEDs will light your desk, reducing eye strain and fatigue. This equipment is ready to provide you extra light when you need it most. The LED throat lights, when combined with the bobbin light to light the hook assembly area, make the workspace even brighter and shadow-free.
EASY–ACCESS BOBBIN
The location of the bobbin case on this machine has been carefully designed for quick and easy accessibility. It's now easier than ever to change your bobbin. The Q'nique 16X Series uses larger M Class bobbins with more thread than standard bobbins. You can therefore quilt for longer periods of time before replacing or refilling your bobbin.
Evolution Elite Quilting Frame
The Evolution Elite Frame is an extra item designed by The Grace Company to be compatible with the Q'nique 16X Manual. Constructed from steel and cast alloy, the frame is one of the most robust and long-lasting structures ever made. The Evolution Elite Quilting Frame has leveling feet, channel locks, an adjustable leg system, and a SureTrack dual-wheel system. The purpose of this no-baste frame is to improve the ease of use and aesthetic appeal of your quilting creations. The standard packages for the frame with the machine are 8', 10', or 12'.
Legs with height adjustment allow you to operate at your most comfortable level.
With the help of the take-up rail handwheel, you can easily roll all the layers of your quilt. This moves the fabric to the next quilting part of your project.
To fit your quilting frame, adjust the depth of your work area accordingly. When using a long-arm quilting machine, increase your workspace for larger patterns, or get closer when using a short-arm machine.
You can easily lock the action of your machine to move either side to side or back and forth. ideal for lines that are straight.
